Tinker is happening on the first and third Thursday of each month, at Bampot House of Tea from 8pm til late. Bring your own creative projects or play with what's provided. Tickets are $10.

Tinker is an art event aiming to deprioritize the finality of 'the show' and 'the deadline' and even 'the client', focusing on multi-disciplinary artistic experimentation, process, and curiosity. This space will be filled with people who are passionate in their fields, curious about yours, and wanting a stronger sense of artistic community in Toronto.

This event, starting at 8pm, invites folks in to come and get a cup of tea, or cozy snacks. We will chat, introduce ourselves and what we're tinkering with - and then break into an open studio work session. Then, after a set time period, the group comes together and discusses, shares, and connects. Opportunities to formally show work to the whole group is also available, if you are interested in seeking feedback on your work. Please tell us if you plan to share work in advance, but know that same-day shares are also possible!

This multi-disciplinary space hosts writers, visual artists, musicians, dancers, poets, crafters, art directors, photographers, knitters, actors, and more - all working to develop their own passions while offering feedback and curiosity to others doing the same. This city is full of talented, passionate folks and I want to see what happens when we bring them together.
