Meet our Featured Artists: 

  Henry Nozuka Growing up in a musical family Henry was surrounded by songwriting and a highly creative environment. Expression was highly encouraged in his up bringing. He decided to pursue an artistic education at Etobicoke School of the arts studying music and dance. After high school Henry began playing music and touring with his brother Christian Bridges. They formed Down by Riverside which is a Toronto based Soul Rock Reggae band. They released their debut EP "From the Ground Up" in 2012, and began touring Ontario, New York, and Japan. Henry then decided to move to Oregon to live at a meditation retreat centre for 3 years, seeking a deeper spiritual connection. Arriving back in Toronto in November 2015 he has decided to record his first solo EP and begin playing in Toronto and NYC.

  Alex Cogswell Alex is a local musician and graphic design student at George Brown College. He is an advid lover of tea, board games and live music. Naturally, he frequents Bampot on a regular basis. He first discovered Bampot while searching the city for open mics. He quickly became involved with the scene at Bampot, and began performing, and organizing concerts of various local artists. His two major loves; are music and graphic design. You will find him promoting one of the two bands he fronts, Auto Manic and 9 of Hearts, or with friends play-testing the Arcana Towers Board game he is currently designing. Alex currently hosts concerts with his psychedelic folk-like band, 9 of Hearts, one Sunday of every month at Bampot Tea House.
